I love being inspired… people, places, things… and this past weekend I visited a very inspiring place and met some very, very exceptionally interesting and delightful people. So I thought I’d share in my adventure.
On Saturday a friend (and T.O Blue Jays fan) took me to one of their favorite places in California. The Saarloos & Sons tasting room in Los Olivos. I immediately fell in love with the rustic-modern and charmingly eclectic interiors designed by the talented Heather Saarloos. I love Heather’s style, it’s chic, fresh and totally got my DIY juices going.
After indulging in a wine tasting (the wine is amazing and each wine tells a family story) and enjoying a few cupcakes http://enjoycupcakes.com/. I had the fortune of meeting and chatting with wine making rock-star Keith Saarloos http://saarloosandsons.com Keith’s creativity, energy, outlook on life and craftsman’s approach to wine left me feeling inspired and renewed my belief that if you are passionate about what you do success is inevitable, dreams do come true and yes, yes there are unicorns…
