"When you stare into the abyss, the abyss stares back into you" / by Keith Saarloos

Most nights I sit staring into the warm of abysmal glow of the Internet.
Sometimes the abyss stares back.

  1. i have no idea who this is.
  2. i found this completely by chance
  3. i would like to buy this man a drink
  4. i think it is a man.

First off, love your blog. Secondly, what are some other blogs or websites that share similar advice on how to live “unemployed”? I saw you posted about Location180, and I was wondering if there were any other sites similar to yours

Thanks Check-the-Method! That’s actually a great question and I wish I had more for you. Location180 is a great place to start. Here are a few more to check out:

  1. Amtrekker - A great site and a good friend of mine. Learn to travel for cheap (I mean way cheap) and have some fun along the way.

  2. The 4-Hour Workweek - 80% of your benefits come from 20% of your effort. Eliminate the excess work.

  3. The Millionaire Next Door - Its an old book but it will teach you the importance of keeping your monthly nut low.

  4. Saarloos & Sons - A guy who owns a great winery and cupcake bar near Santa Barbara. All about doing what you love.
